ZIMMERMANN announces the opening of their first boutique in the prestigious enclave of Monte Carlo, Monaco. Located adjacent to the picturesque Le Plateau des Spélugues park, the new store embodies the sumptuous world of Zimmermann and the haven’s opulent charm, providing a welcome addition to the luxury retail landscape of Metropole Shopping Monte Carlo.

Crafted in collaboration with Studio McQualter, the Zimmermann Monaco store’s exterior is characterized by handcrafted green tiles that adorn the facade, mirroring the neighbouring verdant park, complemented by bespoke timber and metal window and door details, paying homage to 18th Century European architectural motifs.
Within the store interior, clients are welcomed into three seamlessly interconnected retail spaces, each reflecting Monaco’s reputation for refined luxury. Marble Statuario Palladiana floors and recessed clothing niches with built-in glass shelving create an elegant backdrop for showcasing Zimmermann’s latest collections. Modernist lighting including Brutalist sconces, Danish Opaline glass ceiling pendants, Murano glass wall lamps and a floor lamp from Fontana Arte, help to reveal the unparalleled beauty of the location.
Furnishings throughout the store have been meticulously curated. From Mid-century modernist metal chairs, Art Deco desks and Swedish leather armchairs with leopard-print cushioning, to a spectacular Spanish wall light in gilt wrought iron scrollwork, every element has been thoughtfully selected to enhance the shopping experience. A luxurious lounge area serves as the centerpiece, styled with a custom-designed striped Kilim rug, antique wall mirrors, and an array of exquisite display fixtures.
The fitting rooms feature distinct mirrors, prints and premium furnishings such as modernist Cassina seating and 1960’s wooden Starburst ceiling lights, offering each client a personalised and exclusive experience.
Additionally, the store showcases a selection of contemporary art and ceramics, including original pieces by esteemed artists Belem Lett, Stephen Bird, Jody van den Nieuwendijk, Pierre Alechinsky, Tampa Sinelnikov and Stephen Dunlop, sculptures by Nelly Bonnard and Lynda Draper. A standout 1930’s Tonala ceramic vase, further enriches the ambiance.
