TOM FORD Timepieces is pleased to announce the November 16, 2022 launch of the TOM FORD 002 Limited-Edition Titanium Chronograph Timepiece. The TF002 Limited-Edition Titanium Chronograph, a collector’s piece produced in a limited run of 150 pieces per model, features Mr. Ford’s signature etched on the case-back of the watch. The timepiece comes in two models- black and white.
The TF002 is graphic in its style and technical personality, a product of Mr. Ford’s passion for creating a statement piece of luxury sportswear within the timepiece space. The TF002 is rugged and elegant – the look, the feel, and the mechanics nod to motor racing with its perforated leather strap, just like driving gloves, and similar timekeeping functions.
The commemorative TF002 titanium case is 43.5MM in diameter and is composed of lightweight titanium, a precious material in watch-making that was chosen to allow increased durability against impact. The sleek composition of the blackened and brushed titanium case was chosen for its light weight and durable nature while the DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coating creates even greater resilience and longevity.
The TF002 Limited-Edition Titanium Chronograph is both complex in its detailed construction and refined in its concept reflecting the value of timelessness and elegance, core to TOM FORD. With its intricate design, the blackened, brushed/matte finished timepiece exudes a casual and toned-down look and feel, carried through in the rich simplicity of the dial language. This includes the black dial with contrasting white indexes, counters and hour/minute hands as well as a signature round, ocular tip on the hour hand, which is applied to our automatic movements. The Sellita SW510 Automatic movement that powers the watch is a highlight of the timepiece. This highly coveted collectors’ piece comes complete in limited-edition black, lacquered, titanium packaging.
Launching November 16, 2022, the TOM FORD 002 Limited-Edition Titanium Chronograph Timepiece will retail for $2,995 and will be available at TOMFORD boutiques and TOMFORD.COM.
