Sensing a need for speed, ROTATE Sunday, takes a turn towards an easygoing and yet fast paced, new collection. The seventh installment is designed to be raw, edgy, and casual, reflecting the universal wearability of Sunday, but retaining ROTATE’s signature dynamic aesthetic.
Drawing from the universe of leather clad biker clubs and 90’s Americana, the collection focuses heavily on outerwear and denim, alongside the classic ROTATE Sunday sweats. Presenting a checked flannel lumber jacket, oversized windbreakers, sharply cropped denim jacket and the new iconic
cropped down jackets – reinvented in ultra-high shine material with tassel detailing. Variations on twill and denim can be found throughout the collection, injected with eye-catching patch additions and acid wash finishes, to convey a sense of nonchalance and coolness seen in the biker’s world.
Designed to be worn together, all items in the collection remain versatile and neutral, with a muted color palette for the chilly months, with only the occasional pop of vivid pink or electric blue in the mix. Lightweight jersey pointelle pieces, stamped with a ROTATE ‘R’ are included to encourage layering and playfulness. The ROTATE sweats have had a seasonal refresh, with a strong new logo, continued acid washed effect and introduction of bold new shapes.
Accompanying the collection, is an electrifying image campaign, showcasing mind-bending visuals courtesy of photographer Julien Boudet. Set against the backdrop of Paris, the photographs masterfully depict the city's frenetic energy while a model is dramatically chased through its cobbled streets.
ROTATE Sunday launches online and in store worldwide on 23rd October 2023. The collection will be available in leading worldwide retailers such as: Net-A-Porter, MyTheresa, Luisaviaroma and Selfridges. Prices ranges from €50 - €270.
