Be it pastel or potent, at Longchamp, pink is the color of spring, that most joyful of seasons.

“Think pink! If you want that quelque chose*,” sang Kay Thompson as the passionate fashion editor in the movie Funny Face – an invitation to which Longchamp responds with a resolutely upbeat collection. From morning to night, pink appears in every shade, revealing its palette like facets of a personality. From sequins to leather, velvet to knit, pink’s power of attraction extends to every material.

To think pink means to play with its nuances. Ballerina, marshmallow and blush create a rosy glow. Its array of shades allows for multiple flights of fancy, from a velvet suit in shocking pink to stretch pants in machine-washable leather with a peach-skin feel. Shrug on a blouson in soft fake fur made from recycled polyester, or opt for sequined, party-ready pajamas with a matching mini vanity case.

Bags sparkle like bubbles of pink champagne in fluffy fur or velvet for Le Roseau, and monochrome leather for Le Pliage Xtra’s mini satchel. On feet, super-supple ballet pumps can’t wait to dance.

After dark, pink is for those who dare. In deep, rich shades, it is a promise of Parisian elegance. Longer lengths create a slinky silhouette, while cutaway backs are sure to turn heads. Le Roseau’s bamboo toggle becomes a jewel detail to accen- tuate the neck, and heeled sandals are adorned with bows as Longchamp brings a playful touch to dressing up. A crop top worn over a long dress creates the illusion of a cape, while the emblematic kimono jacket adds drama to every movement with its wide sleeves. Pink can be maximalist but minimalist too, in combination with black and white. With the new Daylong bag or the iconic Le Roseau in beetroot leather, chic and savoir-faire come together. To quote the last line of the song: “Pink is now the color to which, You gotta switch!”

“At Longchamp, we love colors that convey optimism and energy. In each and every shade, pink says free spirit. It’s time to think pink!” – Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp Creative Director.
