Collaboration - 7/12/24

"At Tressé, we celebrate a familial art of living. We pay homage, through our creations, to our shared eye for detail, our taste for beautiful objects, materials and finishes – all of which were passed down to us. An art of living that we are now looking to pass on in turn.

Beyond the art of living, it's the art of entertaining that lies at the heart of our philosophy. We want everyone to feel welcome and to be able to flourish in a warm and welcoming environment.

It was then, in a whirlwind of inspiration and creativity, that Tressé and Café Leandra met, driven by the desire to merge their worlds, their histories, their cultures and their ways of life.

This collaboration grew out of this desire to convey values, an art of living and stories woven from childhood memories, travels, shared laughter and the promise of happy, sunny futures.

Between New York and Paris, inspirations intertwine, respond to each other, and are transformed by encounters and exchanges.

Tressé and Café Leandra have come together to create a typology of twenty-two colorful, authentic tableware pieces. The creative approach of this collection reminds us that what we treasure lies in shared experiences and moments of joy and happiness, and in the ability to appreciate the little things in life.

Hand-painted and hand-crafted ceramics, embroidered linen, hand-painted glassware and water glasses made in Murano come to life in the hands of artisans who embody the very essence of authenticity and tradition.

The handcrafted, organic shapes of these pieces are adorned with cheerful, colorful patterns. Whether it's the swirling spiral or the radiant sun of Tressé, each tells a story.

The spiral, symbol of dynamism, is both hand-painted on our ceramic plates and dishes, and models itself on our candleholders and fruit bowls.

The sun, Tressé's iconic symbol, is redesigned on our dessert plates and embroidered on our cocktail napkins.

This tableware collection is completed by a yellow cotton canvas and raffia apron that is worn like a skirt."
