Pierre-Louis Mascia's new Fall Winter 2021/2022 collection will be showing digitally during Milan Fashion Week, through an extraordinary video shot in Toulouse, the city where the designer lives and works. The video is a portrait of characters interpreted by the refined and multicultural style of the French designer, shot inside the Eglise Du Gésù, a deconsecrated church where the architecture and the precious stained glass windows are the reference to the brand's signature prints. The video was shot under the patronage of the City of Toulouse and the Bureau des Tournages de l'Agence d'Attractivité and the original music used as soundtrack was created especially for the video by Yves Rechsteiner, Art Director of the Festival "Toulouse les orgues".
The theme of the collection develops around the concept of knowledge and know-how, which links the creativity of Pierre-Louis Mascia to the production excellence developed by Achille Pinto: the quality of the project is the result of the synergy between theory and practice in a true wisdom of doing things well, an aesthetic that never goes beyond ethics and pragmatic sustainability.
“I am very proud of the outcome of the video. For me it resembles the action of humanity getting out of the darkness and going towards the light of hope. It is a powerful meaning for the time being”.
