MARNI : Big Foot 2.0 Sneakers

CHUNKY, UNISEX AND PLAYFUL: THE NEW MARNI SNEAKERS FOR FALL/WINTER 2023 Fall/Winter 2023 sees the introduction of BIG FOOT 2.0, the new MARNI sneakers with a maximalist design. 
Deliberately chunky and featuring a maxi-sole, they offer a fresh and bold interpretation of sneaker through their amplified silhouette and irreverent attitude. Made in Italy and genderless, they reflect the audacity of Marni’s vision: a combination of comfort and affirmative identity, both rooted in freedom. 

Crafted in soft nappa leather with an extra-smooth finish, they are characterized by a voluminous padded upper and sole with an accentuated outline, despite their (almost) feather weight. The MARNI logo emerges discreetly, top-stitched on the backtab of the shoe and engraved at the back of the rounded sole. 
The colors that underscore the new BIG FOOT 2.0 are an extension of the primary hues that are characteristic of the Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear, presented in Tokyo. Black, white and yellow establish a chromatic connection with next season’s oversized looks, where solids are juxtaposed with essentially graphic motifs such as polka dots, grids and stripes, while volume and three-dimensionality alternate with restrained proportions. Everything coexists, with the pursuit of comfort, striking a balance between cartoon and reality, assertive creativity and pure simplicity.
