AMIRI proudly announces the opening of its Chicago Flagship store, the brands sixth location in the US and ninth internationally.
Located on East Walton Street in the heart of Chicago’s historic Gold Coast District, the store spans 7,500 sqft with 4000 sqft sales floor area. The design of AMIRI Chicago is in collaboration between Mike Amiri and Paris-based design studio NOCOD, alongside a partnership with US architectural design firm Two One Two Design.
Translating the design language of AMIRI, the Chicago store employs familiar touchpoints found across all the brand’s retail locations. Curated by Mike Amiri, the space carries a dynamic balance of textures and tones, an atmosphere of comfort and craft sees strong materials including natural oak, precious marble, and stainless steel complimented by custom furniture. Highlighting the artistic sensibility that distinguishes the brand, the store hosts a series of site-specific art installations. A work by renowned American artist Jason Revok taken from his ongoing Spirograph series is seen alongside artwork from Chicago-based gallery 1871, presenting two pieces by local collaborative artist duo Alridge titled, Joint Spirit II and Joint Spirit III.
Housing the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear alongside kidswear, footwear and accessories, the store will also stock an exclusive capsule collection inspired by the red and black colours of Chicago's iconic sport team. Consisting of tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, trackpants, MX1 jeans and caps, the collection is designed in AMIRI’s signature silhouettes and motifs, including a limited-edition Chicago bone logo.
