KENZO is pleased to announce the opening of its inaugural US flagship in New York City, the first KENZO boutique in the world designed by Creative Director Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

Located in Soho at the corner of Grand and Mercer streets, the new and dynamic concept of Felipe Oliveira Baptista is housed inside a historic cast-iron façade building emblematic of the downtown neighborhood. Inside a series of reimagined white metal scaffoldings are reflected throughout the space’s floor to ceiling mirrors serving as a both a launchpad for the House’s newest collections and collaborations as well as a destination for the brand’s global community.
Greeting visitors as they arrive is a dedicated space for revolving artistic installations debuting with a vintage television presentation and complimented by original 1970’s leather furniture and geometric plexiglass displays. Arrays of plants and vegetation punctuate the
metal structures evoking the House’s DNA and commitment to the natural world as well as Oliveira Baptista’s focus on organic materials.
This first US Flagship is envisioned as a continuously evolving ecosystem where artistic installations and community gatherings are delivered alongside the brand’s newest offerings creating a unique experience and that is distinctly KENZO.
The New York KENZO Flagship will open on Thursday June 25th with the KENZO x Vans collaboration, the first capsule designed by Felipe Oliveira Baptista for the House.
