Patou is the firstluxury brand to launch a partnership with Fairly Made‘, giving its customerstransparency on the traceability journey and environmental impact of its “Les Essentiels” product line.
Since Patou’s relaunch in 2018, there was a consciouseffort to ensure its products were developed and produced by prioritizing sustainable practices. This ethos culminated in “The Patou Way”: where every product includes an individual QR code that explains Patou’s eco-conscious efforts towards materials, packaging,and production.
Today, Patou is taking its ethos and sustainable practices to the next level by partnering with Fairly Made‘. The goal: to be transparent in its traceability on all its “Les Essentiels” and core products.“Les Essentiels” is product line consisting of main staples of the brand that together make up a “timeless wardrobe'’ Between “Les Essentiels” line and the core carryover items, Fairly Made‘ has evaluated a selection of about 64 Patou products. Within this selection, the Fairly Made‘ SaaS platform offers an evaluation and breakdown of Patou’s supply chain and environmental impact. Materials, recyclability, and traceability will be rated accordingly.
By partnering with Fairly Made‘, Patou is pushing itself further in its choices and its responsibility to their customers and to the environment. Today, Patou is among the firstluxury brands to offer its customers these insights, and by doing so Patou is challenging itself to do better. Patou’s future objective is to evaluate all ready-to-wear and leather goods of the Fall-Winter 2023 collection.
