On the occasion of the Design Week 2023, Missoni has decided to guide us in discovering our most intimate feelings, those which we (frequently) forget and fail to recognise. And it does so by using various installations to reveal its multi-faceted lifestyle.
LIVING INSIDE-OUT
(Missoni Showroom - via Solferino, 9. April 19th - 23rd open to the public 10.30 am - 11.00 pm)
Decorative visions in perspective.
Ground floor. A fantasy landscape set-up with unusual shapes and creatures both suspended and positioned on the ground. This surreal display revolves around the new pouffes, in doughnut or panettone shapes. A mix & match of colours and textiles. The installation is a Missoni-style artistic jigsaw designed in complete freedom to cheer up spirits and wipe away worries.
First floor. Design visions. The core of the Missoni Home Collection 2023 and the latest furnishing innovations in a theatrical and welcoming set-up. The items displayed on the ground floor reclaim their roles in practical settings, rich in colour proposals and textile variations.
As a surprise, there will be a “wish-desk” on the ground floor to allow visitors to buy and take home their best-loved items. Souvenirs like cushions, soft toys, mugs and candles, all connected by a fil rouge to the display set-up.
