Maison Valentino, driven by the desire to preserve the Haute Couture excellence that distinguishes it and to pass on its know-how to the younger generations, is proud to present “La Bottega dell’Arte” – 2023 edition.
The internal academy founded in 2015 in Rome, the creative heart of Valentino, is a unique space where past and present meet, emphasizing the craftsmanship tradition of Haute Couture that has always characterized the Maison and providing the talents with the skills needed to take on highly complex artisanal roles following the Couture tradition of Valentino.
The new edition of the training program was launched in October 2023, in a renewed area within the historic headquarters of Valentino in Rome.
Here, for nine months, the students involved, guided by a former première and two former seamstresses from the Atelier, have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the heritage and values of the brand, acquire mastery of tailoring techniques, and support the preparation of two Haute Couture fashion shows up close. At the end of the program, students will present their final projects to the Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
This unique training experience celebrates the singularity of Valentino as the most established Italian Maison de Couture, emphasizing the timeless creative DNA that sets it apart.
Valentino continues to support the empowerment of young generations through education, considering it a key element of its giving back mission.
This commitment was recently recognized at the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2023 (September) with the “The Education of Excellence” award, in recognition of Valentino’s concrete educational initiatives, opening the path to the future career of tomorrow’s talents.
