Lemaire introduces the Ransel, a new series of bags inspired by children’s backpacks that can be worn crossbody, on the shoulder or held as a clutch.
Lemaire asked longtime collaborator, French photographer Estelle Hanania, to capture the bags through a series of mysterious pictures, building a hallucinated world where everyday objects come to life, breakfast floats, bags levitate, and time stands still.
The Lemaire family comes in two colours, Chocolate Fondant and Black, enhanced by the glossy finish, and three different models : a satchel classic, a mini satchel and a handbag.
The handbag features a hybrid strap that encircles the entirety of the bag whereas the satchel has an adjustable leather one attached with metal lobster clips.
The bags can be closed with a flap that is embossed and stitched around its border, with a silver studded metallic closure. They are made of high-shine vegetable-tanned leather, a smooth material that gives a sense of suppleness to their rectangular structure.
