Off-White™ and its founder and creative director Virgil Abloh proudly announce the next step in the company’s expansion: Childrenswear. Premiering within the Fall/Winter 2021 collection (shown in June 2021), this dedicated kid’s clothing and accessories line will feature girls’ and boys’ items for those aged 4 to 12 years old.
“I often see images of Off-White™ consumers with their kids, dressing up their kids,” says Virgil Abloh.
“I wanted to expand our roster and offer something from our world to these youngsters, too.”
Off-White™ Kids—as the component is formally named—features not only new youngster-minded apparel, but also new branding. Abloh has taken Off-White™’s raised hands logo and added naif scribbles in Crayola-bright lines. These include a sun, a seated stick figure, decorative elements and the word “KIDS” over Off-White’s typeface.
Additionally, there will be an official Instagram account and handle to showcase both new pieces and new marketing and media: @off___white___kids.
The initial collection for Off-White™ Kids was inspired by hippie culture, with a semi-psychedelic and fun approach to colors and motifs, including a squiggly “OFF” graphic. This ranges from jackets to tees to trousers. A sneaker will also be made available: the “Low Vulcanized,” with more models to follow in the future.
Off-White™ Kids will be delivered in July, 2021. It will be sold at Off-White™ boutiques globally, online, FarFetch, and through select retail partners.
