Kim, Fred, Korri, Lee and Val are their names. Both convinced that being beautiful does not prevent having fun, Pierre Hardy and Hervé Domar imagined five new styles of sunglasses.
They bloom at the sight of the first summer days. Five pairs of sunglasses ready to play with glamour and design. Hollywood accents, automobile or downright land art, it’s up to each and everyone to decide.
Imagined by Pierre Hardy with the complicity of Hervé Domar, Parisian jewelry and sunglasses designer, these glasses are strong in character. Kim, the oversized style, is as comfortable sitting at a terrace on the Invalides as in a cabriolet, with a headscarf, off the coast of the Riviera. Korri, the round pair, a little Yoko Ono, a little Le Corbusier style. Lee, the retro version, looking like Norman Mailer writing at the Beverly Hills Hotel, or Fred, juggling with curves, and Val, the sporty pair with its revisited pilot lines.
Manufactured in the Jura region in cellulose acetate, these five lightweight models are of pure shapes, with assumed thickness, strong curves and sharp angles. There is also a color game. « They flirt with sculpture as much as with makeup », Pierre Hardy laughs.
Available in five color variation frames, from black to tortoiseshell, navy blue to ivory, burgundy to orange, the matching Italian graduated lenses complete the look. For the connoisseurs, the interior of the frames reveal the cube perspective, the PIERRE HARDY signature pattern. Playful and elegant, these hand-made sunglasses are to be worn all year long.
